Kamloops Curling Club Awarded 2013 Canadian University Championships!

Sites for 2013 & 2014 CIS/CCA University Curling Championships announcedWednesday, 18 January 2012 Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and the Canadian Curling Association (CCA) have announced that Kamloops, BC and Regina, SK will host, respectively, the 2013 and 2014 CIS/CCA University Curling Championships.The 2013 edition will be held at the Kamloops Curling Club, March 20-24 and be hosted by Thompson Rivers University. Provincial Scotties Start

2012 Scotties BC Women’s Curling Championship begins todayNorth Vancouver, BC (January 23, 2012) Players take to the ice today for the start of the 2012 Scotties BC Women’s Curling Championship presented by Best Western at the North Shore Winter Club in North Vancouver. This year’s line-up includes all medaling teams from last year’s championship held in Cloverdale. Olympic Star - Update - Bronze for Canada!

Team Canada including our own Corryn Brown won a bronze medal at the inagural Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria. Congrats to her and the team. Curling Club Pro

The Kamloops Curling Club is peased to announce that we have appointed Grant Olsen to be our Pro. Much like a golf pro he will be available by appointment to give lessons for a fee. Starting at $20 for half an hour Grant will give you delivery analysis or give you some practice drills to help you improve your game. For more info email grant@kamloopscurlingclub.ca.
